Thank you for your interest in the REVOLUTION!
This was my first attempt in 2010, if you are looking for the BRAND NEW REVOLUTION

I have not, despite my earlier promises, made any new posts. This is a very, very bad thing, I know. I suppose there are many reasons why I haven’t posted lately, but I think the main reason is I have discouraged myself. There are so many things I would like to do with this blog, many of which I believe will make the experience more enjoyable for everyone who visits but I have not been able to incorporate them all. You have already seen my new “Orange Poster” format and you’ve all seen the Comparison pictures and the change of Title Banner. I have gotten some very positive responses to these changes from many of you, which of course makes me want to do more and better things. My life and job, however, make it difficult to keep the workload up, not because it is too much but mostly because I am ill-prepared. So, I will be making a few changes to the format as well as my scheduling of things. As soon as I figure the dates out, I will re-boot my Phase 2 and start over again right from the beginning. This time with a number of templates that will only require the input of information…
Here are some things you can look forward to:
Hopefully, when all this is ready to go, you will have a more enjoyable and consistent time when visiting my little site here.
Again, I apologize for the delay between posts and I will let you know when Phase 2 will launch again.

So here’s what’s going on with the rest of this post. It will be coming, but later. It includes a video, which is the problem I’m having right now. I could give you the techno-babble of file conversion and platform compatibility but suffice it to say that the video is not ready. It will be. I’ll let you know.
I’m trying to set up some newer cooler stuff for the site and maybe organize it better but these things take time. I’m doing my best and hopefully the whole thing comes together. Until then keep checking back please.

This has been a pretty rough week. I’m very sorry for not having kept the blog up. There will be a new post today so keep checking back. It may not be in the new format though, not enough pictures that are interesting.
Things I will touch on in the new post:
-The TTC and my failure of it.
-The 200 push-up challenge
- The reveal of phase 2 of my “Get not Fat” adventure
Ok! Here is my new blog entry. It will be a long, long list of apologies and some justifications.
It will not be a fun colorful picture blog filled with funny faces and dramatic images of celery sticks.
Not to fear though, it will also outline what is next for Tim Is Fat and will include a promise that I will not go a full week without having a post ever, ever again!
So, where to begin…
I suppose I should begin with the Two Tim’s Challenge.
To start off with, I made a couple of mistakes right off the bat.
I had taken a picture of the scale on day 1. It said 245 pounds. Then, after finishing my first post, I deleted my pictures on the memory card because I thought I had transferred them all to my hard drive. I hadn’t.
You’ll have to take my word for it, it was 245.
At the beginning of Day 8, I weighed myself again. It said 239. Yup, I had lost 6 pounds in the first week, leaving me only 4 more to go.
Then some bad things happened at work. I had only two days left in the old job and a few people took the opportunity to make them less than pleasurable. I didn’t eat at all for most of the day, I had no appetite, and then for dinner I ordered some comfort food in the form of a delicious pizza. A healthier type of pizza, but definitely against the rules of the TTC.
The next day, my really awesome and terrific friends made my last day better because without them it would have been one of the worst days ever. They took me out for some delicious Chinese buffet food at one of my favourite places. It’s the kind of place that always includes food with eyeballs and calls cuttlefish, cuttlefish instead of trying to convince us that it’s calamari. Needless to say, I didn’t follow the rules. Depression will do that to you.
The new job is nice and I can start eating properly again, but the damage is done. In all I skipped 4 days… and I’m up two pounds.
I will do the TTC again soon because I know it was enjoyable for everyone and I would like to do the full two weeks.
To be fair, it was very much working.
Tomorrow is also the last day of the P90X challenge. Stay tuned for that entry because I will talk about the pro’s and cons of the series and give it my final grade. I will also let you all in on what the next series will be. Here’s a hint: it’s another video series that seems excessively difficult but, like P90X, needs little to no extra equipment.
Some of you are wondering what my 200 push-ups challenge is. I will be doing it along with Phase 2 and the TTC. I think I’ll start everything Wednesday.
Anyway, here’s how the 200 push-ups challenge works. Every day I will do 200 Push-Ups. I have all day to get them done. I can do them whenever and however many per rep so long as, by the time I go to bed, I have done 200 Push-Ups. The goal will be to finish the 200 earlier everyday. It should be interesting.
So again. I’m so very sorry for my absence. I know I have some very faithful fans and some new readers and to them I am so sorry. It won’t happen again.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Also, sorry for the lack of jokes.
